Chibundu Amah, the first player to score Hat-trick in the ongoing NPFL season, match day 12 against Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, which ended 3-0 at Akure Township Stadium. The young Umuahia born striker scored the 3 goals as a substitute at the 76th minutes of play.

The tactician of the team, (Sunshine Stars FC) Coach Kabiru Dogo does start the young Umuahia born striker from the bench since the commencement of the season and today’s match against relegation threatened Niger Tornadoes football Club of Minna was not different.

The introduction of Amah and Adeniji in the 50th minutes strengthened the attack of Sunshine Stars and Amah got the only goal in the match at the 66th minutes that dashed Niger Tornadoes’ hope of escaping relegation.

It is interesting to know that Amah scored against his former team mates and friends from Ijayapi Rocks Footballer Club Abuja. (Moses Ugwu and Jumbo Wisdom who also featured for Niger Tornadoes Football club of Minna in that encounter.
